PuzzleForm 3D legal information

Acceptable use policy

What the software does, that it uses no AI and creates no images, faces or likenesses, and what it may not be used for.

Report illegal or infringing contentTerms of service

What the software does

PuzzleForm 3D is software sold as a subscription with export credits. You supply a 3D model file you already own or have licensed, in STL or OBJ format. The software divides that mesh into interlocking parts and returns those parts as STL files for you to print yourself. Import, configuration and geometry calculation run in your browser.

The service produces geometry. It does not check whether a model you supply may lawfully be used, whether a print will succeed on your printer, or whether the result is safe for any particular purpose.

No artificial intelligence and no invented content

The division of a model is deterministic computational geometry. There is no machine-learning model, no generative model, no training on user data and no artificial intelligence of any kind in the product.

The software creates no new subject matter. It produces no images, no photographs, no video, no audio, no voices, no text, no human faces and no likeness of any person. Its only output is the model you supplied, cut into parts, in the same file format you supplied.

There is no automated decision-making about people and no automated categorisation of people anywhere in the product.

No marketplace and no user publishing

There is no user-to-user marketplace. Users cannot publish models, create seller or creator pages, onboard as sellers, list third-party products, collect payouts or share revenue through PuzzleForm. A file you import stays private to your account and is never listed, shared or made available to another user.

The curated model library is a catalogue maintained by Hellinckx Process Simulation e.U. with its source and licence stated on each entry. It is not a user submission and not a seller listing.

No physical goods

PuzzleForm never produces, ships or sells a physical item. What is sold is software access and export credits. A commercial plan grants you a licence to sell objects you print yourself on your own printer; PuzzleForm is not a party to that sale and takes no part in it.

What you may not use the service for

You must not use the service:

  • on a model that depicts a real person, or uses a person's likeness, without that person's explicit consent,
  • on a model you do not own and have no licence covering every intended use, including a protected brand, character or design,
  • to produce functional weapons or their components,
  • to produce anything illegal under Austrian or Union law,
  • to misrepresent the origin or licence of a model,
  • to bypass credits or access controls, or
  • to operate a file-resale service or a third-party seller service.

These prohibitions restate section 7 of the terms of service and apply to every plan, paid or free.

Reporting and enforcement

Anyone can report content on the website or in the curated library that they consider illegal or infringing by writing to support@puzzleform3d.com, in German or English. State why the content is illegal or infringing, name the exact page or model, and give a contact address.

We review reports and act where action is required. An account used in breach of this policy can be suspended or closed. We do not generally monitor private user files and have no obligation to look for illegality on our own initiative.
